US orange juice consumption lowest in 11 years

Data released Monday showed the amount of orange juice sold in the US fell to its lowest level in at least 11 years, a trend that is expected to weigh on prices.



Total domestic retail sales of orange juice fell 4.2% to 39.89 million gallons in the four weeks ended June 8, from the previous four-week period, according to Nielsen data published by the Florida Department of Citrus.
