Buehlers Fresh Foods here said Friday that it has reached an agreement to acquire Portage Lakes IGA, an independently owned supermarket in Akron, Ohio.
Buehlers officials said the deal is expected to close in July. A purchase price was not disclosed.
Our focus is on customers and the assurance that they continue to receive the same service and products they have come to expect at Portage Lakes IGA, Bob Buehler, vice president of marketing and merchandising for Buehlers, said in a statement.
