Ecua-Dehyd is the first dehydrated fruit export consortium seeking to introduce its products into the UK, Canada and the US.
Ecua-Dehyd was advised by Pro Ecuador, entity which presented the consortium on 5 June.
The micro, small and medium firms that form Ecua-Dehyd are: Agroapoyo, Cevera Fruits, Sumak, Mikuy, Biolcom, Fruvesol and lvaro Mio.
The consortium's main goal is to sell products with a high added value and, according to Pro Ecuador, to join forces and strengthen the firms' producti
