Black Tea May Decrease Prostate Cancer Risk

Greater consumption of black tea and other dietary sources of flavonoids may decrease the risk of advanced stage prostate cancer (PCa), according to a new study.

In a study of involving 58,279 men in the Netherlands Cohort Study, men who drank five or more cups of black tea a day had a 25% decreased risk of stage III/IV PCa and a 33% decreased risk of stage IV PCa compared with those who drank one cup a day or less, after adjusting for age, researchers reported online ahead of print in the Amer
