Burton’s Biscuit invests £4.6m at Llantarnam facility to deploy new technology

UK-based Burtons Biscuit is investing 4.6m at its facility in Llantarnam, south Wales to boost production and support new product development, a move which safeguards 800 jobs at the facility.

The new investment is part of the company's strategy to invest 13.5m this year at its facilities in Welsh, Edinburgh, Blackpool in Lancashire, and at Moreton in Merseyside.

The Llantarnam plant has been selected to deploy control room baking systems. It is one of the company's three production facilities
