The preliminary national average price received by farmers for all wheat in May was $7.51 per bu, down 20c from $7.71 in April but up 84c from $6.67 in May 2012, the U.S. Department of Agriculture said in its latest Agricultural Prices report.
The average price paid for winter wheat in May was $7.37 per bu, down 15c from $7.52 in April but up 95c from $6.42 in May 2012. The average price paid for durum was $7.92 per bu, down 9c from $8.01 in April and down $1.03 from $8.95 in May 2012. Spring w
