Nestlé’s invests in Spanish coffee facility

Nestl is investing EUR 44 million on new technology for its Nescaf factory at Girona in north-eastern Spain.

The new equipment will deliver greater efficiencies in the production of soluble coffee, while improving the environmental footprint of the factory by significantly reducing water consumption and energy used in the manufacturing process.

The two year investment programme was announced by Nestls Spains Chief Executive Officer Bernard Meunier at a media event in Barcelona.
