India Looks to China for More Seafood Exports

India is among 37 countries that have been cleared by theGeneral Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection andQuarantine (AQSIQ) to start exporting marine food products toChina, K Nagaraj Naidu, Counsellor (Commercial) at the IndianEmbassy said.

The new regulations require all countries exporting aquaticproducts to China to ensure that their consignments areaccompanied with inspection certificates, the formats of whichhas to be previously approved and notified by AQSIQ. China hadimposed
