Spokespeople at Tesco werent immediately available to comment. Tesco shares rose as much as 4.05 pence, or 1.1 percent, to 373.10 pence as of 11:06 a.m. in London trading. The stock is up 11 percent this year, giving the company a market value of 30 billion pounds.
