Baby milk formula 'smugglers' arrested in Hong Kong

Customs officials in Hong Kong have arrested five people who they suspect are part of a gang attempting to smuggle baby milk formula to mainland China.

Foreign-made baby milk products attract high prices in China, especially since a locally manufactured formula laced with the industrial chemical melamine killed six infants in 2008.

Meanwhile, retailers in the UK are rationing sales of powdered baby milk, because of a surge in demand from China.
