Strong demand wraps up French apple season early

While some French apple growers were fortunate enough to have good volumes of fruit this season, there was a shortage of apples throughout Europe this year. The scarcity of fruit caused prices to rise, and while that was good for suppliers with enough fruit to last through the season, it's resulted in the season coming to an end earlier than usual.
