The prosecution charged Jaisinh, Ranjitsinh and Ratansinh with five offences, namely (a) selling expired confectionery; (b) defrauding with regard to the nature of goods; (c) violating the regulations of the PACP; (d) storing foodstuff in inappropriate conditions, and (e) hiring unlicensed labour.
