Negotiations on a free trade agreement (FTA) between Vietnam andthe European Union are still going on, but the VietnamAssociation of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) has highhopes.
The FTA is expected to open many doors for Vietnamese seafood toenter the EU, a market which consists of more than 500 millionconsumers and GDP of over $17 trillion, said VASEP GeneralSecretary Truong Dinh Hoe at the Vietnam-EU FTA conference heldin Ho Chi Minh city.
