Sales of Chablis wine in the UK has grown with exports reaching nearly 10 million bottles and generating 43m in 2012, according to Bureau Interprofessionnel des Vins de Bourgogne (BIVB), a France-based governing body of Burgundy wines.
Chablis is a French white wine made with Chardonnay. Majority of the wines shipped to the UK include Chablis and Petit Chablis, while others include Chablis Premier Cru or Grand Cru.
