Ireland publishes horsemeat test results

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) has published the second round of the food industrys own tests, which were carried out over the last three weeks. The tests revealed that a total of three samples contained horsemeat.

A total of 1,228 samples of beef products and ingredients were tested. While 1,225 samples were found to contain no horsemeat, three samples representing two products contained horsemeat.
