Dairy Crest buys Proper Welsh Milk

UK-based Dairy Crest has acquired the business and assets of a small specialist milk business Proper Welsh Milk from its administrators BDO for 325,000.

Created in 2011, Proper Welsh Milk employs around 40 people and supplies local milk for Tesco, Marks and Spencer and a number of other customers.

Due to cash flow problems Proper Welsh has gone into administration on 1 March 2013.
