Chr. Hansen expands probiotic cultures plants

In response to growing consumer demand, Chr. Hansen will expand its production facilities with plans to build the world's largest freeze-drying plant for pharmaceutical-grade probiotic cultures in Denmark. Sales reached $27.9 billion in 2011 and are estimated to reach $44.9 billion in 2018.

Customers can expect a state-of-the-art facility with a high level of hygienic design. The layout will allow visitors to observe and inspect the main operations and equipment during the production process. T
