The director of the Department of Plant Protection, Cosan Coutinho, estimates that the agreement gives more security to the parties, since it facilitates trade between the countries.
Brazil has called for an agreement with Russia that eases the process of export and import, including soybeans for two years, Mr Coutinho said.
