Iglo has beef with Belgian supplier over horsemeat

Frozen food giant Iglo Group, Feltham, UK, has withdrawn packagesof Chili Con Carne with rice from sale in the Netherlands afterit was found to contain small amounts of horsemeat.

The frozen dinner is produced by Frigilunch, Veurne, Belgium, andturned out to contain two percent horsemeat, the company said.Iglo had earlier ordered an investigation into all its meat-basedproducts, saying, While this is not a food safety issue, it isclearly unacceptable.
