Gruppo Campari, an Italy-based producer of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, has agreed to sell its Punch Barbieri liqueur brand to Distillerie Moccia of Ferrara, Italy for 4.45m.
Punch Barbieri was initially launched by the Barbieri Brothers of Padova in the 1960s. It was later acquired by Barbero1891 in the 1990s, before being finally purchased by Gruppo Campari in 2003.
