Anheuser-Busch InBev will acquire Chinese Nanchang Asia Brewery Co Ltd, a leading brewery in Jiangxi province, the National Business Daily reported.
The Shanghai-based newspaper said AB InBev is going to acquire the Chinese company to penetrate into the Chinese middle and low-end beer markets.
AB InBev declined to comment.
We do not comment on market speculation, said AB InBev China on Wednesday in a text message to China Daily.
