The Wemyss family, which owns Wemyss Malts bottling business, is to build a new 3m single malt whiskey distillery Kingsbarns and a visitor center in Fife, Scotland, in 2013.
Located around six miles away from St Andrews, the site will be leased from Sir Peter Erskine of Cambo Estate. The family received 670,000 from the Scottish Government Food Processing Marketing and Corporation.
The family plans to commence construction of the distillery in 2013 and start distilling operations in 2014, wher
