Protest fear looms over supermarket chain Coles

Australian supermarket chain Coles faces fear of civil disobedience protest from truck drivers' association fighting for safer working conditions.

Transport Workers Union (TWU) began silent protest by assembling outside a Coles supermarket in the Sydney singing Christmas songs, reported Inside Retailing.

Commenting on the plans of protest, TWU New South Wales assistant secretary Michael Aird said that they would began a civil disobedience campaign against the retailer in 2013.
