Russian wheat prices to hit new highs next year

Russian wheat prices, finishing this year with a more than 75 percent gain, are expected to hit new highs next year thanks to tight supply and worsening prospects for the 2013 winter crops. Farmers are not in a hurry to sell their grain. The main factor is expectation of higher prices during the new year, SovEcon agricultural analysts said in a note on Monday.
