Even as the United States comes under fire for its country of origin labeling (COOL) requirements, the Australian government is extending its COOL requirements to cover new classes of meat, two of the Australian governments department ministers said in a news release.
Legislators responsible for food regulation passed a ruling that cover that countrys existing COOL laws to cover unpackaged beef, sheep and chicken.
