On December 20, 2012 the first KFC restaurant was opened in the new popular shopping and leisure center Ocean Plaza, located at Lybidskaya square in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine.
The restaurant was opened by one of the Ukrainian franchise partners of the YUM! Restaurants International Russia CIS Company - the Azerbaijan holding PNN Group. The new KFC restaurant in Ukraine is planning to sell about 800,000 meals each year. The restaurant is designed for 100 seats.
