Japan suspends inspection of fresh mango in Brazil

The Agriculture Ministry said this Tuesday that representatives of the Embassy of Japan suspended the arrival of Japanese technicians in Brazil to inspect fresh mango.

The director of the Department of Plant Protection Csam de Carvalho Coutinho, of the Ministry of Agriculture, said the removal of the requirement demonstrates greater confidence in the Brazilian export certification, which guarantees the quality mangoes.
