The grape harvest in Taia, north of So Paulo, was off to a slow start. Now, growers plan to expedite the process in order to have the produce ready for Christmas delivery.
The season, already 3 weeks behind schedule, met with a bad start. Both growth and harvest of the Nigara grape was delayed by frost. Some vineyards in the interior were unable to yield any produce.
