The packaging field is going to become a lot more complex in the coming years, but also much more interesting. This is according to Robert van der Laan of Mediane, the Dutch producer of PLA sleeves and bags for agriculture and horticulture. Whereas in the past we had to deal with large production runs, we now see that production is split up into smaller runs. We have to meet more specific customer requirements and as a company we do feel very much at home with this.
