Michigan-based Tri City Cheese and Meats is recalling 271 pounds of Jalapeo Vienna sausage products as they contain monosodium glutamate (MSG) that is not mentioned on the label, according to the US Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).
The recall was initiated by FSIS personnel during a routine label review. MSG is a sub-ingredient in the spice blend used to make the product.
