New Zealand government to establish model dairy farm in Burma

The New Zealand government plans to set up a model dairy farm in Burma, in order to support the countrys efforts to become more self-sufficient.

The farm will be built with an investment of NZ$6m ($4.89m), over a period of five years. The herd on the new dairy farm is likely to be shipped from New Zealand. Currently, Burma imports most of its agricultural products, especially dairy from New Zealand.
