Morrisons has launched the first UK grown Smitten apples. The chain has been the exclusive UK supplier of the apples for two years now, but this is the first time that UK grown fruit has been sold.
Smitten was developed in New Zealand and, up until now, this is where the stock came from.
Smitten is bred by crossing Royal Gala and Braeburn and Fiesta and Falstaff.
