The singular focus on specific nutrients by consumer advocacy groups has detracted from the far more important task of improving the total diet. All studies reveal insufficient fruits and vegetables as a share of their total diet.
An effort to make fruits and vegetables cheaper, more palatable, more convenient and more readily available is what will result in improving overall diet quality and improved health. It is great to see that we are finally focusing on this. Keep it up!
