One third of fruit and veg produced in Romania contains chemicals

Representatives of the National Phytosanitary Authority of Romania acknowledge that one-third of the vegetables and fruit produced in the country are treated with chemicals.

Pesticides are accepted in the European Union and their threat is not related to their use in itself, but to the chaotic way in which the substances are administered.
