In cocoa, fund buying helped benchmark ICE September futures hit a three-year high of $3,239 per tonne before the contract turned lower to close down $12, or 0.4 percent, at $3,195 a tonne in heavy volume. It's purely fund buying, a London-based broker said, referring to the market's earlier strength.
