Realisation in India
In India, as in many developing countries, there is now a growing realisation that the lack of proper food safety and the consequent foodborne diseases are a major impediment to good public health. Bad sanitation in food and other areas has resulted in the incidence of diarrhoea, hepatitis etc. India was one of the leaders in the developing world in enacting food safety legislation when th
