2011/12 NZ milk season most productive on record

The 2011/12 New Zealand Dairy Statistics report, which was published by DairyNZ and LIC, found that milk production in the country increased by more than 11% compared to the 2010/11 season.

In the last year, New Zealand-based dairy companies processed 19.1bn litres of milk containing 1.69bn kilograms of milk-solids an 11.3% increased on the last season.
