Vegetable prices nearly double in Pakistan
date:Sep 26, 2017
Owing to the halting of tomatoes and onions supply from India, prices in Pakistan have nearly doubled in the federal capital and are becoming too expensive for average consumers.

According to wholesalers, the prices have increased due to a heavy reduction in the supply of tomatoes from India. This difference between demand and supply has led to an increase of prices. The price of tomatoes in Islamabad has reached up to Rs 200 per kg, which were being sold at Rs 80-100 per kg few days back.
